The World Food Championships - We're on Team Jonathan!

It is with great pleasure that Wood Cutting Boards presents to you Chef Jonathan Scinto, one of this year’s contestants in the amazing 6^th Annual World Food Championships. WFC dedicates itself to the culinary arts, searching far and wide for the best of the best from the deepest corners of the world. In 2016, the 5^th Annual World Food Championships received 1200 competitors, as well as over 20 000 viewers. Being aired on multiple major networks, such as CBS, NBC, ABC and FOX, the WFC has created 30 televised food stars and has connected over 150 food brands with fans all over the globe. We are proud to sponsor and support Chef Jonathan during this cultural and culinary competition.

About the Chef

Growing up watching food icons, such as Julia Child, and experimenting in the kitchen at an early age is what formed Chef Jonathan’s passion for the culinary arts. Growing up in Long Island with his Italian and Jewish family, he has come to create wonderful Italian styled dishes with Asian influences. Believing in the presentation of his dishes, Chef Jonathan certainly puts out some of the most elegant and delicious looking plates most have ever seen. Competing in the Seafood category of the World Food Championships, while using our personalized wood cutting boards, he is sure to finish with the most presentable and delicious dish of them all.

Previously being on competitions such as Master Chef, Food Network’s Iron Chef Showdown and Chopped Live, Chef Jonathan has been tested and judged by the world’s greatest chefs. Not letting that stop him, he helps organizations such as St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and New York Sportscene Children’s Foundation and has been featured on networks such as ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and Showtime,

After graduating New York’s Institute of Technology, competing on several Food Network competitions and featuring on many major networks, Chef Jonathan is completely ready to take the World Food Championships head on. Taking place in Orange Beach, Alabama from November 9^th to November 15^th, Chef Jonathan will be taking on his category by storm, blowing the competition away.
