Best Ribs on the Grill

Ribs are enjoyed by many people all across the country. However, they can be tricky to make, and this stops many people from grilling their own ribs. Ribs are actually not that difficult to grill, if you know what you are doing. Let us share with you several tips to both improve the taste of your ribs, as well as make them easier for you to grill.

Don't Burn them!

This sounds obvious, but it is one of the most important parts in the process. No one would want to eat a burnt meal, when they could be eating some nice and tender ribs instead. Not grilling them too long is the most obvious way to prevent them from burning. Also, a dry rub with a high sugar content is not recommended. The sugar burns quickly, which will blacken your ribs.

Have A Good, Clean Wood Cutting Board

It is much easier to prepare you ribs if you have a good, wooden cutting board. Make sure it is clean and oiled well. You may get to know more about this here. We at Cutting Boards USA offer you a selection of great cutting boards. We manufacture only high quality wood cutting boards, in maple, walnut and cherry, at a good price. Our maple cutting boards and walnut cutting boards are among the best in the industry. They come in many unique shapes and sizes, and you can even personalize your very own. We also have many wholesale cutting boards available.

Get Rid Of the Membranes

Make sure to pull the membranes off of your ribs, because there are not many people who enjoy eating the membranes due to their toughness. Removing the membranes will also allow the flavoring to reach more of the tender parts of your ribs.

Seasoning Your Ribs

Seasoning your ribs is one of the most important steps in the prep process. It is important to use a good seasoning to ensure that your ribs will taste good. Rub the seasoning on liberally, and make sure that you rub the seasoning on both sides. Let your ribs sit for 20-30 minutes before smoking them. This allows the seasoning to open up the meat and allow for it to absorb the seasoning and smoke.

I also like to marinate them in beer the night before. I makes them tender, juicy and flavorful.

Another option boil them for 20 minutes or so in a pressure cooker, and then brush them with your favorite BBQ sauce. Preheat your grill to 500F while they boil, then have them sizzle for a few minutes on each side so the sauce caramelizes on them and the taste sinks in.

The rest is up to you, but these tips will definitely improve the taste of your ribs. Make sure to follow these as best as you can whenever you grill ribs. Ribs are an American classic, and they need to be grilled well in order to experience the full potential of their taste.

Have a great BBQ!
